Yesterday was good.
I got back to Dordt about 9:30 am because of the brewing snowstorm and my daddy's insane need for me to be safe on the road (which I am eternally grateful for).
Then Jess and I spent the day hanging out. We wasted a massive amount of time at Walmart, where I found an AWESOME Beatles shirt as well as much needed chapstick. Then, I took Jess tanning for her first time ever. It was a beautiful experience. Then I spent most of the rest of the day cuddled up in a blanket in my dorm, watching TV and sort of working on homework. Miss Amy came over later and we had a fabulous time, much of which was spent in my bed, fighting over my blanket and tickling each other. Later, Jess and I went to Diane and Laura's room, watched 1.5 episodes of Sex in the City and chatted. We decided that Diane and I are the crazy ones while Laura and Jess are the grounded ones. It's definitely going to be an interesting dorm room next year. I am stinkin excited.
Then things went downhill.
I had to miss 50 minutes of Worship and Lit yet again because of chapel (I will also probably be missing Thursday's for chapel). Sam wasn't there and I was freaking out for a good while, but it all came together as always. Lunch was gross and I didn't eat much. I went to the nurses office and found out there might be something wrong with me but they aren't sure so I have to take antibiotics for 7 days and then we'll see (!!pray!!). Then, I realized I have a meeting about chapel on Thursday but I'm not prepared so I worked on that for a while, but I kept running stuck. Supper was even grosser and I didn't eat much again.
The redeeming parts of today - I am wearing my AWESOME Beatles shirt and I get to have free drinkage at the Bean tonight and hang out with my worship committee.
I hope you are all doing well. Tell me how life is and what you have been up to! Make me smile. I definitely need it.
