I am glad it is this week.
I will be even more glad when it is this week Wednesday and I can leave Dordt for a little bit.
Complaining bit (I made it small so you can totally skip over it):
I am now 2 journals behind in Calvin's Institutes. Not because I'm horrible at managing my time. Oh no. Our syllabus is just so screwy that you can't tell when stuff is due. I need to get those done before I leave for Chicago.
We also had a hugemassive project due in Stagecraft. It was annoying. I relearned why I do not like math. I also learned that drafting is stinkin hard. I have a new respect for people who do that...and who design stuff. The project took me all afternoon (working around GIFT) and I didn't even make my project structurally sound. Oiy.
I was looking at my planner this morning and realized that I have a test in 20th Century Theology tomorrow. This is my hardest class mostly because I don't get a lot of it. I usually feel pretty comforted because no one else really gets it either. Except now we are all freaking out together because Shim gives hard tests. Essay tests. About what people's philosophies are and why they are that way. Which normally wouldn't be a problem except we have to remember a lot of people, a lot of situations, all of which are sort of the same but sort of different. Eek!
My headaches are back in full swing. It's not caffiene's fault, either, which is both a positive and a negative. Positive because I can still drink coffee and things that will help me function. Negative because I will probably have to go back on drugs for them. Argh.
Happy things (which are bigger because they are happier...)
GIFT went relatively well, I think.
And I'm proud of my awesome little sister for being made the captain of her cheerleading squad. Yup. She's pretty much amazing.
Justine and I played in the LeMars Walmart on Saturday night after yummy food at Jeremy's and a good walk full of cigarettes and silly laughter. We blast Ben Folds and danced awkwardly in the car and then tried on funny hats, bought work out videos and lamp/light bulbs. There was also some cuddling involved. I know you are all sorry you missed out on that.
Okay...I'm just stalling so I don't have to do homework which is what I really actually need to be doing. Eech.
love.
