how old are you?

i helped my mom in her classroom today. she teaches pre-k and kindergarten (her aid was gone).

one of the little girls asked me during snack time how old i was. i answered with 20. all the kids looked at me like i had no ears. one little boy told me i was ancient and that his dad was only 4 year old. The boy was quite serious so i held it in but i laughed in my head for a fair amount of time.

it was a day full of adorable children.

i like kindergarten. its full of play time, story time, snack time, cutting, gluing, coloring, and making snowmen out of doylies (sp?). They should have courses like that in college. i think everyone would be much happier and more carefree.
