playing

the last two days have been spent playing. i haven't done homework or worked on gift or anything like that. i've just played.

friday was a play performance of justine's play. afterwards was the justice jam, which ojk played at (and did a fabulous job, guitar dropping and all), which was followed by general girly silliness.

saturday was a shopping trip at maurices which resulted in a costume for rep tour and an awesome blue and brown summer dress that made the happiness in my heart soar. then another performace, strike, perkins, and my very first dance at dordt. then came play time at the park.

goodness abounded.

tonight is the last gift of the year. sam is speaking and it is people-who-are-leaving farewell. i'm not sure how i feel about it yet. i'm excited to be done with planning and worrying, but i love gift. over the past two years it has become a huge part of my life and i don't really want it to stop being that. but it must.
