i am sitting in sheboygan christian high school, in their computer lab, that denies the use of facebook.
tour is going well. last night, all of us (meaning all 11 of us) stayed in what was basically a mansion, located on a golf course. the cast slept in a HUGE room with a massive home theatre system (of the flat screen on wall and projector hanging down from ceiling variety). the house was gorgeous, and during breakfast i watched old rich men walk whatever hole the house was on. it was awesome. times two.
so, tour officially started. we've done the performance we wrote twice and both times is been quite well recieved by the students. i had two girls tell me they appreciated how real it was and how the piece wasn't what they always heard. yesterday, we took a walk to lake michigan. it was beautiful, but slightly chilly.
there was a huge rock formation that went out into the water a little ways and i walked out to the edge. i felt pretty overwhelmed by the majesty of the site. birds flying overhead, calling to each other, a breeze on my face, the sun in my eyes, and the water crashing gently at my feet. i was just struck by how diverse God made nature. we drove through huge rolling hills of trees with not many trees around, and then we get here and there are trees everywhere. and the smell of the lake. i love the smell of lake. i should live by one.
welp. i must be off. there is traveling to waupun tonight. email me things that are good. i want to know about your life!
