still crazy after all these years

i watched a special dedicated to paul simon on pbs tonight. it was spectacular. paul simon can sing better in his upper sixties than most can...ever.

*sigh of contentment*

he's brilliant. really.

anyways.....

i still don't have a job. i cook a lot. i clean a fair bit. i water our neighbor's flowers.

i lead a terribly boring life.

but, on the bright side, i'm headed down to sioux center on friday to see totally cool people and dye some hair. both of those activities will be awesome.

i might see if after my family vacation i can move to dordt and work. they let people do that, right? ugh. annoying.

it was malorie's 16th birthday yesterday. when did my littlest sister suddenly get old. she's not here. she's in crown point, in on a serve project. but happy birthday to her anyways, cause she's cool.

i was just looking at internet things like the link that says "paul simon" to the left. the essential paul simon cd/dvd set is coming out. how badly do i want that? what a silly question.
