today, titles are dumb

i miss my boyfriend. not talking for almost a week is ridiculous. i'm just saying.

i saw justine today. that was happy. times two.

i'm ready for school.

there is some gorgeous lightning action outside right now. i love it. we need a good thunderstorm. hopefully this produces some rain.

scrubs was not on tonight. that was sad.

work tonight was crazy. at first, it was ridiculously slow. we figured that because the sioux empire fair is going on this week, complete with a big concert tonight, and the fact that the dairyqueens of sioux falls had some huge sale thing today where if you bought one blizzard you got another one free, that it would continue to be slow. so the girl in charge decided that we only needed four of us (we usually have nine people working nights). and it continued to be slow until about 8:30 when a huge number of people had a sudden craving for b&g icecream. it was ridiculously busy, with cars backed up all the way to the entrance from the road and a line going from our lobby to outside. we got another girl in, but we still only had five people working. yup. it was crazy busy. needless to say, after the hour and a half rush of people, we were a little crazy. it was fun. but ridiculous. we did get a free treat (meaning anything off of our menu) for free since we did such a good job. that was nice.

i'm going to go watch the girl in the cafe. It has bill nighy (who I love) in it and is by the writer of love actually. here's hoping it's good.
