hello all.
i actually caught up on reading blogs. awesome. i feel in the "loop" again - being off campus for most of the time means i really have no clue what is going on with things. it's kind of nice and kind of not at the same time.
my job at maurices is going really well.. i enjoy the people i'm working with and i think i'm catching on to all the basic things i need to (working the computers, actually selling clothes, trying on clothes, dressing other people). as the weeks progress i have to learn all the manager things too. amber (my manager) is pretty good about explaining things well, but there is a TON of information to process and remember about managing a store.
and seriously, who ever thought i'd be the manager of a retail store some day? yeah. me either.
other than that things with me are good. i work all day, and sometimes get over to the bean to see people - although suddenly i have to go to bed earlier than i did last semester - work or something like that makes me tired! ridiculous.

I wish there was a cool store where I could work. Like a record store. Or a Guitar Center. Yah.
