today, after a lovely nights sleep, the cast and i enjoyed donuts and coffee for breakfast. we had a great rehearsal.
today, as i drove home, the windows and sunroof were open wide. mika blasted on the stereo. i squinted because it was sunny and i can't find my sunglasses.
today, after many meals eaten on the run, i sat down with my family for bacon cheddar burgers, chips, and salad. and even though i don't like hamburgers, it smelled like summer.
today, my dad told me he was excited and proud of my decisions concerning the future. it felt wonderful to hear those words.
today, my sister cried because she's sad that i'm moving away at the end of the summer. then we went to starbucks, the mall, and rented three chick flicks.
today, i ate my first blood orange ever. it was slightly sour, but delicious. and beautiful.
today, i resisted the urge to purchase and use hair dye.
today, there was joy.

Sarah, i am glad that you found joy in your day today. I have never tried a blood orange. however, the Humble Bean has that flavor syrup and i've tried that before. Would you suggest that I invest in buying one?
