new music - jakob dylan. bob dylan's son. lead singer for the wallflowers. just put out his own acoustic-ish album (now at starbucks).

its so good. his voice has some of the same tone qualities as his father, yet its different enough to be new and interesting. lyrics are good too. all in all, someone to look into.

today is the first day of the last week of camp. good.

i had to go to the doctor today for a sore and swollen throat. turns out i have the beginnings of an ear infection. doctor prescribed some drops. when to get the prescription filled and they told me it would cost $100 for a small bottle. poo on that game. i'm just going to take amoxicillin and hope that keeps the infection from developing into something truly awful.

dad and i rented a u-haul to drive out to holland (official leaving date is the 18th). we also decided what furniture i am inheriting from the parents. it seems so much more real now, the moving out for good.
