my back is turned on you

my ability to procrastinate often comes back to kick me in the ass. this week would be a prime example.

i should be writing an exegesis paper, or finishing a preaching project, or writing addresses on letters to be sent out soon. but my time is filled with spring banquet preparations. and with catching up on tv shows while catching up on friendships that have gone through a sad lull as of late.

i feel good about my decision not to do homework - especially as i watch my peers scramble frantically to do things. i've already accepted that my exegesis paper will be handed in late. i know i should really finish my preaching project. and since i need the money to go to china, writing addresses on letters will take a lead on my "to do" list. i wish i didn't have to put so much time and effort into spring banquet - but i want the event to be something worthwhile.

i begin to recieve immunizations today for china. i hate shots.

spring break begins for me this friday afternoon. i will go to chicago and explore a pirate ship. i will celebrate easter with justine and her family. i will finish my exegesis paper. i will read and watch movies and play mario kart excessively. it will be good.
