through many dangers

- Hobos are dinners cooked in an open fire (usually composed of meat, potatoes and veggies slathered in butter, wrapped in tinfoil and absolutely delicious). I say "in" because the fire has to be super duper hot so it cooks everything evenly, and the packet is actually placed in the fire. Last year we made about 55 of them during hottest, most humid week of the summer. It was about 110* that day, and we used a weeks worth of wood cooking these things. The guy counselors cooking them sweated about 5 nalgenes of water out. We dubbed hobos "satan...in tinfoil".

- I love being here at camp. It's a lot different than last year, but I feel it is going to be challenging for me in ways and in areas that I need to be challenged in. This is a good thing.

- Our camp definitely needs your prayers. Satan is throwing all sorts of stuff at us with the intent of trying to take us out so our ministry to the campers won't be effective. Even though I know that can't possibly happen because we are in God's hands, prayers are definitely appreciated.

- I miss awkwardness.
