in other news, i am posting from my new laptop. it's pretty. red, actually. i like it lots. its definitely been occupying my attention from more important things....like packing.

i have made some progress, though. i've gone through all my clothes, all my drawers, half of my closet, and under most of my bed. i've thrown away a lot, put one box together with things to move to holland, begun accumulating things into either the garage or designated moving room, and begun making a shopping list. i still have a long ways to go. its so hard to find motivation.

my parents twenty-fifth wedding anniversary is on monday. huzzah.

i move in eight days. i suppose that should be enough motivation to make me pack.

the opening ceremonies of the olympics were brilliant. simply brilliant.
