labor day weekend. how odd not to have classes on monday. instead, i will head to the beach and enjoy the fellowship of new friends.
have i mentioned how amazing it is to have a large lake that looks like at ocean a 15 minute drive from my apartment?
classes start on tuesday. i am very ready.
friday was the all-seminary retreat at camp geneva. a beautiful location and a beautiful day. spent the afternoon on the beach with my friends, playing frisbee, relaxing. all things good.
the community here is wonderful so far. i've met people i really connect with, who i've had some great conversation with, and who i think will influence me in many ways during the next three years.
perhaps more pictures to come. i miss you all very much.

Hey Sarah, I just dropped by your blog while perusing facebook and wanted to say your apartment looks really nice! I hope you are enjoying seminary and Michigan, it looks like things are going well for you :-)
Every once in a while I think about that weekend I spent with you and your family at that cottage way back when and it makes me smile.
